I saw it yesterday at a friend’s house and ignored the adult conversation to read through it myself; so nostalgic, reminded me of my own childhood and times i spent baking with my grandma. Id like to buy it for my mother in law to give to read to baby, as i know she’ll be the one baking with him as he grows.
i really appreciate that its not specific to a religion/doesn’t exclude any religious holidays and that its general. When i saw the instagram account i figured it would be about eid el fitr and wasnt going to buy it. Im Christian and we eat kahk every Christmas and Easter.
I actually once researched the history of kahk, which seems to date back to ancient egyptians.
genuinely LOVE your book. You’ve done such a great job and the market is desperate for good quality arabic books for children
